As you lay cards from the deck it adjusts which third of the deck you can lay on subsequent shuffles through the remaining cards in the deck. Turn 3 Klondike Solitaire: In hard mode you play by threes or flip through 3 cards at a time, so you only get a chance to lay every third card from the deck.

Turn 1 Klondike Solitaire: In easy mode when you flip through the deck it is one card at a time, so you get to try to lay every card from the deck on each shuffle.

This will invite you to choose a difficulty level.

Click on the red play button with the white arrow on the game’s welcome screen.

Place ace cards on the foundations and build up to king by suit. Lay cards in descending order while alternating colors on the playing field.
